VideoSnack curates the best short videos from around the web. For VideoSnack, Seed prototyped a proof-of-concept web app that would help its founders learn from user retention online. The expectations that users have from human curated content is different from algorithmic curation. Their visual representations are therefore to be designed slightly differently. The interesting challenge then became about differentiating VideoSnack from other video platforms like Youtube or Vimeo. Seed came up with the concepts of snacks and calories to give life to this different narrative. VideoSnack has been retired.
